Pineapple Dole Whip

 Pineapple Dole Whip


Ingredients:
Frozen Pineapple
Canned Pineapple Juice
Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:
Fill a blender 1/2 Full of frozen pineapple. 
Fill the top half with vanilla ice cream.  
Pour canned pineapple juice into blender until it is half full. 
Blend ingredients together.  
You can make the consistency more firm by adding more pineapple or vanilla ice cream.  You can make it more liquidy by adding more pineapple juice. 

If you want to get fancy, you can put the Dole Whip into a frosting bag and pipe it into a cup to make it look like it came out of a machine.  I have fun cups and drink umbrellas that I bought from Amazon that make this dessert feel like a tropical getaway!  It's definitely an easy way to make this dessert festive! 

Everyone I have made this for loves it!  It is so refreshing on a hot day and so easy to make.  You really can't go wrong.  The best part is, you can keep frozen pineapples and vanilla ice cream in your freezer and pineapple juice in your pantry so you are ready to whip out special drinks any time!  The ingredients store for a long time!   Enjoy!

Rosemary Focaccia Bread

Kalua Pork Tacos with Pineapple Slaw

 You can't have too many tacos!  When your main dish can be made into tacos the next day, you do it!  I made my Hawaiian meal with Kalua pork, rice and pineapple slaw and reconfigured it into tacos the next day and everyone loved them! I need to take a better picture, but these had great flavor and might've been better than the original meal.                                             Kalua Pork Tacos with Pineapple Slaw Kalua Pork  - Use the leftovers and fry it in a pan until it gets crispy in places.  There is enough oil in the pork, just heat the pan up and let it crisp.
